Okay, So I got the album. When I was waiting in lovely friday night San Francisco traffic I was able to hear the entire album.

*thank you*

I love it. Love it doesn't even describe it actually. "Keep Yourself Warm" has been on repeat for about the last 30 minutes or so.

Any other good recs?

I love covers, too. I have all of those but the Watson Twins one :)

Most interesting cover of late was Glen Campbell's cover of Green Day's "Good Riddance" and Panc at the Disco's cover of "This is Halloween" from Nightmare Before Christmas and "The Weight" by The Band.

Favorite cover I heard yesterday: Mars Volta covering "Birthday" by The Sugarcubes.

Rufus Wainwright's is still my favorite version of "Hallelujah".

Fort Hood is indeed a strange song. The beat itself is happy and uplifting, but having lived on Fort Hood, it makes me want to cry.

Also one of my favorite albums. "Marlene on the Wall" stands the test of time. "Small Blue Thing" is a beautiful poem. I didn't understand most of this album when I first heard it at 11, but I knew I would.
